StarPound Expands Board, Adds Senior Leadership
Atlanta based company experiences growth, positions for expansion
November 15, 2011 - Atlanta, GA StarPound Technologies today announced additions to its Board of Directors and senior management team. The company, which develops and deploys next generation software platforms, is positioned for growth in an expanding market.
Joining the Board is Richard Spencer, the former Vice Chairman and CFO of Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. (NYSE: ICE). Serving as CFO from 2001 through 2008, Richard was responsible for seeing ICE through it's initial public offering and several subsequent secondary offerings.
Also joining the Board is Rawson Haverty, a Board member and Senior Vice President of Real Estate and Development at Haverty Furniture Companies (NYSE: HVT). Rawson serves on several Boards and is a founder of Serenbe, a model community that is internationally recognized for balanced development for sustainable lifestyles.
StarPound announced the addition of Eric Bleke as President and COO of StarPound. Eric has co-founded several successful technology ventures and has served in senior leadership roles at Enterprise Computer Systems, Technologic, Xcellenet and Catalysta Partners.
StarPound named Steve Smithwick as President and COO of its’ wholly owned Teledini business. Steve is an early pioneer in VoIP and has a track record of creating growth companies. He has served in senior leadership roles at at Global Connection of America, Reignmaker Communications and Cbeyond Communications.
